Common Creature's debut album out tomorrow!

Johanna Elina gains momentum in Denmark

Johanna Elina's debut solo work "Our Garden" has received fantastic reviews in Denmark, the latest of which was on Politiken, one of their biggest newspapers. Check out the review here.

She'll also be featured in Radio Moreeni on Thursday the 24th at 4pm Eastern European Time. Listen to the broadcast here.

Kauhukakara and HUM hit the record stores

This friday sees the release of Kauhukakara's second album "Eläinten fanfaari" in Finland. Next friday, the 25th of November, the record will be released in Sweden and internationally. The band will also play a concert at the Nefertiti Jazz Club in Gothenburg. The concert can heard live on Swedish National Radio, Channel 2.

Also on the 25th Marcus Pesonen's album HUM will be available in stores in Finland. The album has received several five star reviews already.

New releases!

Eclipse Music is delighted to announce three new autumn releases. Kauhukakara's second album "Eläinten Fanfaari (Animal Fanfare)" is out November 18th followed by a record release concert in Gothenburg. The show held at Nefertiti will be broadcast live on Swedish radio.

Common Creature (Sarah Riedel & Joonas Kuusisto) will release their debut album "Daydreamers" on December 9th both in Finland and Sweden. More info on the touring schedule later.

Markus Pesonen Hendectet, previously only available from Unit Records (and receiving fantastic reviews!) will be out on Eclipse Music very shortly. More info on the release date very soon.

Elifantree on BBC radio

A live version of Elifantree's "Missa Inte Bussen" will be featured on BBC's "Jazz On Radio 3" -program next monday, September 5th starting at 11pm local time.

Elifantree & Defekt on Tour!

There's lots happening on the gig front.

Defekt will play two gigs this week. Today they are in Helsinki playing a show at Jazz Espa festival and then they are off to Denmark for the Aarhus Jazz Festival on the 14th.

Elifantree are playing two gigs next week. On Saturday the 23th they are at the Keitelejazz festival and on the 28th they will perfom at the Koster Music Festival in Sweden.

Tapio Ylinen Live in Helsinki

Tapio Ylinen will play a show a cover songs and originals at the Jailyard Terrace, Helsinki on July 8th at 7pm.

ELIFANTREE plays Morocco

Elifantree continues successful touring. This is their first visit to African soil, as they play the Jazz au Chellah Festival on Saturday the 18th of June.

They continue their live shows in July, playing Helsinki on the 9th and the Keitelejazz Festival on the 23th. After that they are off to the east coast of Sweden, playing the Coster Chamber Music Festival on July 28th. Happy touring, guys!

Kari Ikonen and his long time group Karikko, featuring the French cello virtuoso Vincent Courtois, will release a new album titled "The Helsinski Suite" in September.
